The training programme (for governmental agencies and on dispute settlement)
will be delivered through thematic seminars and workshops, which cover, inter alia, the following topics*:
- basic GATT/WTO principles;
- general exceptions;
- dispute settlement system;
- market access negotiations on goods (import and export regulations, technical barriers to trade and sanitary and phytosanitary measures, rules of origin, technical aspects of the goods schedules and etc.);
- market access negotiations on services (regulations, scheduling practices, services commitments in WTO accessions and etc.);
- agriculture notifications (domestic support, market access, export subsidies and export restrictions in agriculture);
- agricultural policy (domestic support, market access, export competition);
- import licensing;
- trade facilitation;
- trade-related investment measures;
- government procurement;
- free zones, special economic areas;
- trade-related intellectual property regime;
- anti-dumping, subsidies and countervailing measures, and safeguards.
